I tasted several of the offerings, but I am compelled to give a shout out to the Harmony Blend. Only 210 cases of this estate wine were bottled, so  you will need to stop in before the supply is exhausted. Consider a glass with the brick oven pizza that is available on Friday evenings.

Even though the weather was particularly nasty on the day I stopped in, there was a very large crowd gathered in the tasting room. Serenity is popular for its wine, but it also has a reputation as a music venue. Smith was a music producer prior to opening his winery and he brought that skillset along with him. There are live performances Friday through Sunday. When conditions permit, they are held outdoors, but there is also a dedicated indoor music space for inclement weather.

The wine and music are two great reasons to stop in. Customer service is a third. The wine stewards are extremely attentive and everyone appeared to be having a great time. So I absolutely recommend stopping in and after you do, please let me know what you think.

Serenity Cellars Profile

When I stopped in at Serenity Cellars on North Georgia's Dahlonega Plateau, the 1.5 acres of estate grapes were only in their fifth season. Despite that, owner/winemaker Joe Smith was using that fruit and more sourced from California to put together a pretty nice lineup of well-crafted wines.

A separate event space for live music.

A large crowd in the tasting room.
